What do you think of prehistoric culture? Primitive people, stones, animal skins, hunting, fishing, and also, drilling wood to make fire! Yes, humans in the Paleolithic Age were known to use fire to cook food, and in the Neolithic Age they even used fire to make pottery, which gradually changed the pattern of human life. Through this course, students can explore and understand the aspects of fire through practical experience with natural materials, discover and explore the process of civilization and recreate the past, learn by doing, and understand prehistoric culture.
Drilling wood to make fire – is one of the issues in public experimental archeology.

This workshop will explain the development level of human productivity in prehistory from the aspects of history, socio-economics and science, as well as the crucial progress and development brought to mankind by friction fire.

By leading participants to carry out specific operations of friction fire, they can experience the important production skills of prehistoric human progress, make up for the shortcomings of explanations and displays, and improve the research on prehistoric experimental archaeological topics.
